Cookie Policy
This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used by TMS News. Last updated: October 30, 2026.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a separate browser feature that can retain preferences without sending them with every request. This policy covers both, as well as optional tracking scripts.
Essential storage
Staff sign-in uses authentication storage to maintain authorized sessions. Staff preview tools may use a publication-selection cookie, and back-office controls may store interface preferences. These functions are not advertising tracking. Your optional tracking choice is saved separately for this publication in local storage under a publication-specific key. It remains until you change it or clear browser storage; no fixed automatic expiry is currently applied to that choice.
Optional analytics and advertising
As of the date above, optional analytics and advertising tracking is not enabled in this publication's settings. Displaying a banner advertisement does not itself mean an optional tracking script has been enabled. If optional analytics or advertising scripts are configured and enabled later, this platform requests permission before loading them. Declining optional tracking does not prevent you from reading our articles. Tracking scripts do not run in the back office or on private draft-preview pages.
Optional services may include Google Analytics or other configured analytics or advertising providers. No claim is made that those providers are currently in use. Before activating a service, the operator should update this policy with the actual provider, purpose, identifiers, storage duration and applicable privacy information. Third-party services can use cookies or other technologies; their behavior depends on the service configured.
Change your choice
Use Cookie settings in the footer of any public page. When optional tracking is enabled, you can allow it, decline it, or change a previous choice. Withdrawing permission saves a decline choice and reloads the page so previously loaded optional scripts are not loaded again. Withdrawal does not erase information already sent to a provider or automatically delete every cookie it previously created. Use your browser controls to remove existing cookies or site storage. If browser storage is blocked, your choice may not persist between visits.
Browser controls and third-party links
Your browser allows you to inspect, block or delete cookies and site storage. Blocking essential storage can affect staff sign-in and other stored preferences. Clearing this publication's storage also removes its saved tracking choice. External links, including advertisements and embedded-media destinations, may take you to independently operated websites with their own policies. Our cookie settings do not control those websites. Video players may connect to their hosting provider when you open or play a video.
Questions and policy updates
Contact us through our contact page with privacy or storage questions. Read our Privacy Policy for personal-information practices and our Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure for advertising information. We may update this policy when our services or practices change. It describes the current platform controls and does not certify compliance in every jurisdiction.
